Many travelers inquire about health insurance plan coverage. Unfortunately, most insurance carriers do not cover travel consultations or vaccines. For this reason, the Washington Travel Clinic does not participate with insurance carriers. However, you may still attempt to get reimbursed for your payment by submitting the receipt we give you to your insurance carrier. The receipt details the services rendered along with the appropriate codes. If your insurance company covers any of the travel vaccinations you received, they will reimburse you for those according to your health insurance policy.
Payment is appreciated at time of service. We accept cash, checks and major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover and Amex).
Corporate accounts can be billed for our services. Corporations with which we contract may request an on-site service when groups of tenĀ or more individuals require vaccination. We will provide travel consultation, immunization and prescriptions for medications at your location for your convenience at no extra charge.
